BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao announced the commencement of a torch relay for the 16th Asian Games by igniting a torch at the Temple of Heaven Tuesday morning in downtown Beijing.
The Asian Games will be held in south China's Guangzhou city from Nov. 12 to 27.
